African american HAIR HELP PLEASE !!?

Well, I love my hair so much. I wash my hair every week on friday or saturday (it is relaxed) . after I blow dry it it is so Pretty and BOUNCY i LOVE it . my problem is i have split ends. i just don't want to cut them. Right now my hair is almost to my shoulders and im scared if i cut them im going to be mad. I want my hair to grow at least 2 or 3 inches past my shoulders. I have always wanted healthy hair. Right now i am using the shampoo (Pantene {for colored women}) i love how it smells and leaves my hair smelling so good :).. SUM1 PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS ON GROWING MY HAIR OUT..
