Baby & Kitten!!! Is it okay to have them around each other?!?

I have a 3 and half month old son! & I have had this kitten for almost a month now.. But im trying to debate if I want to keep her.. I do but im such a spaz when she is around my son! She tries to lay in his bouncy seat or on his blankets and I freak out and clean them! I know her coat is not nasty but her feet has been in the litter box.. She also sneezes all the dang time!! Plus I think he has ear mites!! She is an indoor kitten and we plan on getting her shots here soon! Am I being too crazy?! can that harm him?!! What should I do? I know there is tons of babies around cats everyday! Need advice plz
