Engine tuning 91 f150 302v8?

I have a 1991 ford f150 302 V8. It has 66k engine miles off a rebuild.. the tranny is at 166k miles and is ready to go but thats another story were just gonna ignore that for now.. However i've been looking for some aftermarket help on modding it a bit.. I dont want to dump a ton of money into this thing but im tryin to fix her up. Im lookin at basics, exhaust, intake, stuff like that. What are some good options I could do? CAI install would work but what kind of exhaust should i put in? and will i need a tuner chip too? Any help is appreciated
