I put the wrong gas in my lawn mower but never started it, is it safe to use ?

Well I happened to put the wrong gas in my lawn mower and never started it . So uh... is it safe to use, also I dumped it out of the mower & the red gas container ( I put the gas in the container aswell) by just simply turning them over . Despite this am pretty sure the container and mower still have some small amount left in it . Uhh... I really need help thanks in advance .
