Is my automatic 2003 tiburon gt v6 with 85k on it worth modifying?

I bought my automatic gt v6 tib used with 81k from the dealership for 5800 and now have about 85k on it. i heard this car runs well past 150k but i want educated opinions on if i should spend the money to modify. I have a VIS terminator carbon fiber hood on it and the tuscani racing emblems all around. i am looking to get an AEM cai and a Borla exhaust as well as a full VIS body kit. this will take a few months of saving cash to finish it up. i also might super charge her too instead of the CAI depending on how fast the cash comes in (prob a few months later if i decide to supercharge.haha). is the cars too old to start modifying? if you think its not too late, i would consider a new transmission in the late future if she dies out on me. let me know your opinion. i would prefer people with a good mechanic background to answer.
