What can you use as a pot for flowers?

You can use just about anything as a flower pot as long as it either already has drainage holes in the bottom or you can put them in yourself. My friend went to her local pizza place and asked for their emply pizza sauce cans (they're quite large) and put her herb plants in them after cutting out the lids and poking holes in the bottom with an awl. It looks really nice.
