What do I do when my ticket turns into a warrant?

I got a ticket for an open container and not using my blinker in downtown los angeles in march and missed my court date and it turned into a warrant for 2000$ about a couple months ago and I haven't been to court yet. What is going to happen? I know if I get pulled over I go to jail.what happens when I go to jail? How long will they hold me. What do I need to do to clear the warrant before I go to jail.
