Can I build a short ram intake or CAI out of PVC?

On the ecotecs the maf is usually built into the airbox cover...you can "build" a pvc intake from home depot parts but you should incorporate the airlid cover in the same location or it'll throw lean codes. It'll look completely retarded though and won't increase performance.
