Do i need to tune my truck engine for a CAI?

I have a 2009 dodge ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 and i was thinking about installing a airaid cold are intake, ive been reading were you may have to do a custom tune before putting it on or it may cause you fuel to go lean or rich? then i read elsewere that the trucks dont need to be tuned for it only the cars. can anyone help me?
